1979-1983 - studied at Malovystrope Technical School named after PS Rybalka, specialty "Agronomy", diploma with distinction.
1986-1991 - on-the-job training at the Sumy Agricultural Institute, speciality 1502 "Agronomy", diploma with distinction.
1992-1996 - on-the-job postgraduate studies at Sumy Agricultural Institute. He defended his PhD thesis in 1998 at the specialized Academic Council of the Sugar Beet Institute of the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences. In 2017, he received his Second Higher education in Plant Protection and Quarantine at Sumy National Agrarian University.
The main stages of labor activity: since 1985, he worked as an agronomist at a collective agriculture hold; chief agronomist at the agriculture hold; chairman of collective agricultural hold; deputy head, agronomist of the enterprise. 1998-1999 - Associate Professor of the Department of Agriculture, Agrochemistry and Soil Science, and from 1999 to the present - Associate Professor of the Mishnev Department of Plant Protection.
For 20 years of scientific and pedagogical work, he has published 173 scientific papers, including 3 in Web of Science, 77 educational and methodological works.
Main academic disciplines: Management of the number of phytophagous insects, Monitoring of crop pests, Agricultural entomology, Protection of ornamental and flowering plants from pests, Entomology.
Areas of research: The study of the species composition of pests of agricultural crops and the development of protection measures in the conditions of the North-Eastern Forest Steppe of Ukraine.
