On May 11, 2022, the sowing campaign for graduate students of the Department of Horticulture and Forestry at the Faculty of Agricultural Technology and Nature Management. Given the war, which so rudely invaded our lives, changing everything familiar to such a dream and desired, with a heavy heart and determination sowing began on April 27, said the head of the department. Ph.D., Professor Tatiana Melnyk.

The first stage was the sowing of early cereals, such as barley, oilseeds: yellow mustard, white mustard, black mustard and legumes – chickpeas. Winter mustard was also cared for. The second stage was sown more heat-loving legumes: rank, lentils and soybeans.

The experiments of all graduate students of the department without exception (Serhiy Butenko, Maksym Brunyov, Yevhen Sorokalit, Angelina Dudka, Vika Chervona, Volodymyr Kolosok, Iryna Krychkevych ) were included. By the way, it should be noted that the graduate student from China Li Zhujie was supported by his Ukrainian colleagues, and laid out research sites for him as well, because in connection with the current situation he is in China. But with the advent of peace, we expect its qualitative laboratory tests conducted in Green Center where he worked and mastered modern high-tech equipment under the guidance of Dr. S.-G. Ph.D., Professor Andrii Melnyk.

On the positive side, there is also a contract agreement with international company BAYER, which is the result of many years of cooperation between the staff of the Faculty of Agricultural Technology and Nature Management. It is gratifying that we are the only one university in Ukraine, which has traditionally been commissioned for research for 8 years, said the dean of the faculty. Ph.D., Professor Igor Kovalenko.

So do the job you do best, because you are part of a great mechanism that is confidently moving into the future to such a coveted VICTORY of our wonderful Ukraine. Keep your front and EVERYTHING WILL BE Ukraine!
