Basic education – pedagogical, in 1989 he graduated from the Sumy State Pedagogical Institute named after A.S. Makarenko majoring in "Biology and Geography". In 2017, received second higher education majoring in "Plant Protection and Quarantine" at the Sumy National Agrarian University. Postgraduate studies from 1991 to 1994. Candidate of biological sciences since 2003. Defended the Dissertation at the Specialized Scientific Council of the Institute of Zoology named after I.I. Schmalhausen, National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, majoring in Zoology. Since 2012, he has been working as an associate professor at the Department of Plant Protection of Sumy National Agrarian University.

Main academic disciplines: Agrozoology, Forest zoology, Applied zoology, Nematology (Nematodes), General Entomology.

Areas of research: Monitoring of plant and animal parasitoses, study of the species composition of nematode pathogens and pests of agricultural plants, development of methods of plant protection against Phytogerminosis and pests.
