He was born on November 30, 1961 in Trostyanets of Sumy region.
1980-1984 he studied at the Sumy State A. S. Makarenko Pedagogical Institute at the Faculty of Physical Education.
1984-1986 – service in the armed forces of the USSR (reserve officer).
1986-1997 he worked as a lecturer at the Department of Physical Education of Sumy Agricultural Institute.
From 1997 to 2015 he worked as a coach in various types of martial arts. He was the director of CYSS. He has prepared 1 Honored Master of Sports, 14 Masters of Sports of International Class and 25 Masters of Sports of Ukraine. The champions of Ukraine, of Europe and of the world are among his pupils.
2015-2020 he worked as the head of the Department of Physical Education of SNAU. From September 1, 2020, he is acting Associate Professor of Physical Education Department.
Since 2007 he has been the President of the Sumy Regional Branch of the Taekwondo Federation of Ukraine, a coach of the highest category, a judge of the national category, Honored Coach of Ukraine, Honored Worker of Physical Culture and Sports.
