The educational-professional program includes three cycles of preparation:
- Humanitarian and socio-economic training: History of Ukraine, Ukrainian language, History of Ukrainian culture, Foreign language, Philosophy.
- Natural science training: Botany, Higher mathematics, Ecology, Radiobiology, Genetics, Plant physiology, Basics of computer science and computer engineering.
- Vocational and practical training: Agriculture, Soil science with the basics of geology, Agrochemistry, Crop production with the basics of forage production, Breeding and seed production, Economics and enterprise, Management, General phytopathology, General mycology, Basics of plant quarantine, Zoology, Entomology, Prognosis of disease development, Agriculture crop pest monitoring, Plant immunity, Chemical plant protection, Pesticide toxicology, Test methods for plant protection products.
Employment:
- specialists and heads of subdivisions of the State regional and region phytosanitary services;
- inspectors and employees of the State Customs Service for Plant Quarantine, specialists of quarantine laboratories;
- employees of research institutions;
- specialists, chief specialists, heads of farms of different forms of ownership, companies, agricultural companies, related fields of work (agronomic and agrochemical services, units of the State testing of varieties for resistance against harmful organisms, seed inspections, etc.);
- representatives (specialists, managers), Ukrainian, foreign and joint institutions, enterprises and firms for study, registration, implementation and marketing of pesticides.
