2009–2022: Associate Professor / Professor at the Department of Pedagogy, Special Education and Management of the Communal Institution, Sumy Regional Institute of Postgraduate Pedagogical Education;September 2022 – Present: Professor of the Department of History of Ukraine at Sumy State Pedagogical University named after A. S. Makarenko, Professor of the Department of Tourism at Sumy National Agrarian University (part-time).
Training courses he teaches: “Excursionology”, “History of Tourism”.
Research interests: history of tourism in Ukraine, agrarian history of Ukraine, history of education, history of Sumy Region.
Advanced training (internship):
2018: a seminar-training on the training of teachers-trainers for the training of guides in Ukraine according to European standards, which was held in Kyiv by the DVV International Representative Office in Ukraine within the framework of the “Professionalization of Adult Education in Ukraine” project;2021: advanced training at University of Bialystok on the topic “Teaching and research in a modern university: challenges, solutions and prospects”, Bialystok, Poland.
Awards:
2009: Certificate of Honor of the Sumy Regional Council for a significant contribution to the work with talented youth, the training of students-winners of the All-Ukrainian student Olympiads in basic disciplines and competitions-defenses of research works of the Small Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.2019: Certificate of Honor of the Sumy Regional Council for conscientious work, a significant personal contribution to the training of highly qualified specialists and on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Sumy Regional Institute of Postgraduate Pedagogical Education.2020: Thanks from the Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine for conscientious work, significant personal contribution to the training of highly qualified specialists and fruitful scientific and pedagogical activity.
