The methodological work of the Department of Plant Growing is connected with the formation of appropriate provision of disciplines taught in the specialties of the Faculty of Agrotechnologies and Environmental Use (“Agronomy”, “Plant Protection”, “Ecology”), as well as the Faculty of Economics and Entrepreneurship. First of all, these are such disciplines as Crop production, Agrotechnologies of creation and use of forage lands, Seed science, Ecological and biological plant growing, Systems of modern intensive technologies, Production of cereals and pasta, Ecological safety of food raw materials and foodstuff, Ecological safety and processing of crop products and processing of fruits and vegetables, International standardization, Certification of technologies, raw materials, finished products of agro-industrial complex, Standardization and quality management of crop products, Technology of storage and processing of crop products, Quality management of agricultural products, etc. For all disciplines assigned to the department, courses of lectures, methodical recommendations for carrying out laboratory-practical classes and organization of independent work are prepared. Today the teachers of the department are the authors of more than 100 methodological works.
