Profession and occupation:
In 1989, she worked as a gardener in the sector of tropical and subtropical plants in the Academician Oleksandr Fomin Botanical Garden (T.G. Shevchenko Kyiv University).
In 1989-1990, she studied at secondary vocational school No. 18 in Kyiv, which she graduated with a diploma "with honors" (awarded the qualification of florist-decorator of the 4th degree).
In 1991, she entered the Ukrainian Agricultural Academy named after the Order of the Red Banner of Labor at the Faculty of Forestry (stationary), in 1995 she graduated from the National Agrarian University with a specialist diploma in the specialty "Forestry and Horticulture" (assigned the qualification of Forestry Engineer specialist).
1996-1999 she studied at the full-time graduate school of the National Agrarian University (Kyiv) with a specialty 06.03.03 Forest Ecology and Forestry.
In 2000, she defended her thesis for the degree of Candidate of Agricultural Sciences with the specialty 06.03.03 Forest Ecology and Forestry on the topic: "Natural forest stands of the green zone of the city of Kyiv and the scientific basis for improving their condition" (scientific supervisor - Candidate of Agricultural Sciences, Professor Volodymyr Yefremovych Svyrydenko).
2000-2003, she worked as an Assistant at the Forestry Department of the National Agrarian University (Kyiv city).
In 2004, she received the diploma of an Associate Professor of Forestry and Hunting Science.
2003-2013, she worked as an Associate Professor of the Department of Forestry / Department of Forestry and Hunting (NULES of Ukraine, Kyiv city).
2007-2009, she was the chairman of the jury of the All-Ukrainian student Olympiad of the second stage (in specialty "Forestry") on the basis of NULES of Ukraine.
2009-2013, she worked as the Head of the educational-scientific-production laboratory "Applied Forestry" (NULES of Ukraine, Kyiv city).
2013-2017, she worked as an Associate Professor of the Department of Hunting Science, Forestry and Forest Ecology of NULES of Ukraine (the Southern Branch).
Since September 2017, she has been working as an Associate Professor of the Department of Horticulture and Forestry (Sumy National Agrarian University).
Main educational disciplines: Forest ecology, Silviculture, Forest estimation, Forest management, Forest Sertification.
Field of scientific research: foreststands’ formation, close to nature forestry, recreational forest use, forest ecosystem management, certification of forestry management system, certification of non-wood forest products, certification of controlled wood, identification and management of forests with special conservation values, ecological economics and sustainable management forestry, forest biodiversity conservation methodology, forest typology, forest soil science, forest botany.

2015-2021. Expert Consultant of FSC Ukraine. Dealt with FSC Ukraine inquiries and issues to FSC development in Ukraine as consultants for standard setting and implementation though guidance and training. She is a co-writer of the manual “Guide to the practical implementation of the FSC® national standard of forestry management system for Ukraine” (2021). Demonstrated abilities to be interacted and provided feedback to staff of forestry enterprises in the process of forest certification. Presented skills in training activities’s according to customers’ issues.
Since 2017, she has been an expert of the non-commercial partnership "Association of Forest Certification in Ukraine".
2008-2019, she was the consultant in the field of forestry for forestry enterprises of Vinnitsa regional office of forestry and hunting Management
2019-2023, she supervised the scientific work of PhD student from the Republic of China (Yan Tengfei). The specialized Scientific Council at the Sumy National Agrarian University conferred to Yan Tengfei the Doctor of Philosophy Degree (Field of study 20 Agricultural science and food, Programme Subject Area 201 Agronomy), which dicision entered into force as “15” of March 2024.
Publications. Author and co-author of 11 books, 1 State standard of Ukraine, 46 scientific articles, 22 scientific reports, 86 theses of conferences, 43 Student books, 4 Guidelines to improve the forestry management system.
