Methodical work of the Department of Agriculture, Soil Science and Agrochemistry is associated with the formation of appropriate providing of disciplines taught in the specialties of the Faculty of Agrotechnologies and Environmental Use (“Agronomy”, “Ecology”, “Plant Protection”, “Garden Design”, “Forestry” ), as well as at the faculty of Law, Biology and Technology, Civil Engineering and Engineering and Technology faculties. First of all, these are such disciplines as “Agrochemistry”, “Agriculture”, “Soil Science”, “Soil Science with the basics of agrochemistry, geology”, “Forest Soil Science”, “Land Reclamation”, “Crop Programming”, “Adaptive Farming Systems”, “Bio assessment of agricultural production”, “Ecological problems of agriculture”, “Fundamentals of scientific research in agronomy”, “Agroecological bases of fertilizer usage”, “Fertilizer application system”, “Hydraulic structures “. For all disciplines taught at the department, courses of lectures, methodical recommendations for carrying out laboratory and practical classes and organization of individual work are prepared. The teachers of the department are the authors of 5 textbooks, 3 monographs and more than 100 methodological works. The textbooks of Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor O.V. Kharchenko “Fundamentals of crop yield programming”, “Agroeconomic and ecological justification of the level of nutrition of crops” and “Forecasting and programming of crop yields” are widely recognized and popular among the students and colleagues.
