He was born on July 13, 1978 in the village Danaets of Glukhiv district of Sumy region.
1994 -1998 he studied at the Putivl Pedagogical School named after S.V. Rudnev at the Department of Physical Education.
1998 - 2001 he studied at the Sumy State A. S. Makarenko Pedagogical Institute at the Faculty of Physical Education.
From 2001 to 2002 he studied for a master's degree at the Institute of Physical Culture of Sumy State A.S. Makarenko Pedagogical University.
On June 24, 2011 he defended his dissertation on the specialty 13.00.02 - theory and methods of teaching (physical culture, basics of health).
The topic of the dissertation is "The system of health-improving classes with children aged 11-15 in the conditions of a summer health-improving camp".
05/31/2013 the academic title of Associate Professor was awarded by the decision of the Attestation Board of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
19.09.2020 he defended his doctoral dissertation on specialty 13.00.04 - theory and methods of vocational education.
The topic of the dissertation is "The theory and practice of professional training of future teachers of physical education for the organization of physical culture and health environment of general secondary education".
He is the author of more than 110 scientific and educational works, including a monograph, a section in an international monograph, 2 articles are indexed in the international database Scopus / Web of Science, 60 in scientific journals of Ukraine, he has 7 textbooks.
Has prepared three candidates of sciences:
Kharchenko Serhii Mykolayovych. Dissertation on the topic: "The formation of health-preserving competence of future agricultural specialists in the process of professional and applied physical training" (2018).
Khomenko Oleksandr Serhiyovych. Dissertation on the topic: "The improvement of the process of physical education of students of agricultural specialties on the basis of sectional classes in military-sports all-around" (2019).
Krsilov Andrii Dmytrovych. Dissertation on the topic "The development of kinesiological competence of future specialists in physical culture and sports on the basis of a differentiated approach" (2020).
